My name is Rebecca and I love exploring the world around us through different perspectives — particularly those of biochemistry, nutrition and self-sufficiency.
The lens I turn to most often is that of biochemistry, genetics, nature, and science as a whole. However, history — and even the mysteries of magic — also fascinates me. I believe that by viewing the world through these diverse angles, we can gain a more holistic understanding. The “Posts” page is where I share my thoughts and discoveries on these subjects.
My interest in biochemistry and nature extends to nutrition — not just for the human body, but for all the interconnected systems of life. From the smallest particles to broad, abstract concepts, I love to observe and explore these systems. Their stories, relationships and patterns reveal the science and beauty of nature, helping us understand how to nourish it in return.
Complementing these ideas is self-sufficiency. I’ve been working toward greater self-reliance in daily life, driven by a desire to connect with the natural world, support decentralised communities, and cultivate a sustainable — even regenerative — relationship with the environment. Learning practical skills helps both deepen appreciation for humanity’s past and prepare for what the future might hold.
My two projects - an essential nutrition calculator - and - a project with a mission to support small, local and decentralised communities - can also be found through this website.
